PCI Express Experts Share Engineering Experience, Design Tips; Demo Current Products

(NASDAQ: PLXT), the leading global supplier of PCI Express® (PCIe®) switch and bridge silicon, today announced it will host two separate technical sessions at the annual PCI-SIG Developers Conference, where a significant focus will be placed on the next-generation PCIe 3.0 specification, as well as the products, features and tools users will find in today’s widely adopted PCIe marketplace. The first PLX® presentation, Hard-Learned Lessons from the Verification of a PCIe Switch, delivered by Swapnajit Mitra, PLX senior manager, hardware engineering group, will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on July 15. This topical discussion will review some common areas to improve verification of a PCIe ASIC.
The second PLX presentation, PCI Express Multi-Host Switches, hosted by Akber Kazmi, PLX director of product marketing, will be held from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on July 16. This track will cover the unique multi-root/multi-host feature and usage models of the latest PCIe switches, which are today being designed into server, enterprise storage and control plane applications.
