PLX EXPERTS TO DELIVER PCI EXPRESS TECHNOLOGY PRESENTATIONS AT MAJOR U.S., ASIA CONFERENCES

Industry Leader to Cover Wide-Ranging Technical Subjects at ATCA Summit, Embedded System Conference, Freescale Technology Forum

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Oct. 14, 2008 -- PLX Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLXT), the leading global supplier of PCI Express® (PCIe®) switch and bridge silicon, today announced it was chosen to deliver a range of technical presentations at several upcoming industry conferences in the United States and China. PLX will share its PCIe technology, development and market expertise at the ATCA Summit, Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) and Freescale Technology Forum (FTF) events in October and November of this year.

The ATCA Conference will take place in Santa Clara, Calif., where Shreyas Shah, PLX® chief systems architect, will present "Multi-Root I/O Virtualization Unleashes PCI Express Power in ATCA Systems," which addresses how virtualization enhances the performance of ATCA-based backplanes. At FTF, in Beijing, China, Nick Ma, applications engineer for PLX, will present “Evolution, Deployment and Challenges of PCI Express-based Freescale Processors,” which addresses the relevant PCIe design benefits within the Freescale environment and the broad variety of PCIe connectivity end-points.
